Terms of Service
Terms of Service
Last Updated: 2026. Effective Date: Immediate.
These Terms of Service govern your use of the website westcrossappliances.co.uk and all purchases of small domestic appliances from West Cross Appliances ("we", "us", "our"). By browsing or ordering, you agree to these terms.
1. Business Status & Location
West Cross Appliances operates as an independent UK e-commerce retailer (Sole Trader). Our administrative contact office is located at Unit 7, West Cross Shopping Centre, Oldbury Rd, Smethwick, B66 1JG, United Kingdom. Technical e-commerce infrastructure is hosted by SHOPLINE HOLDINGS LIMITED.
2. Contract Formation & Pricing
Displaying appliances on our website represents an invitation to treat. A binding purchase contract is formed solely when your order has been dispatched and an official Dispatch Confirmation email is issued. All prices are listed in British Pounds (GBP £) and include free standard UK tracked delivery. We reserve the right to cancel an order and issue a full refund if an item is subject to an obvious pricing error or unexpected supplier stock-out.
3. Permitted Payment Cards
We accept only Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards. By providing card details at checkout, you confirm that you are the authorised cardholder. All transactions undergo automated fraud and address security checks.
4. Electrical Appliance Safe Usage
All appliances supplied are designed for domestic indoor household use in accordance with UK 230V/50Hz mains power standards (unless explicitly designated as dual 12V caravan/camping appliances). Customers are responsible for reading the supplied instruction manuals and adhering to safety recommendations. We are not liable for damage arising from improper electrical connections, overload, or commercial misuse.
5. Statutory Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits or affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, including your 28-day return window and 3-day refund timescale as set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Consumers living in Scotland or Northern Ireland retain the right to bring proceedings before their respective local courts.
